Confessions of a Social Work Intern

Yesterday at my internship I had some time to kill. At first I was productive - I posted my resume on monster.com. I know, I know, that's a big step for me since I'm still terrified of graduating/figuring out what to do with my life. Well, I got tired of doing real world-adult stuff so I decided that my time would be better spent facebooking.

It all started when I noticed that it is my my friend Johnny Cash's birthday on Sunday. I was looking at his profile when I saw that he is in a facebook group dedicated to made up facebook people profiles at NYU. So I just HAD to browse that and I ended up befriending Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, John Kerry, Peanut Butter, ipod, the Democratic Party, and many more. Since I found Peanut Butter, I figured that there had to be more of my favorite foods on facebook. I'm now on my way to being friends with Birthday Cake, Vegetable Lasagna, Corn Bread, and Chocolate Chip Cookies. I'm just waiting for them to confirm.

Another productive day at the office...

Sad...no one ever befriends Facebook. Then again, it could be the devil.

I was in the same boat spring of my senior year...I applied for one job when I came back from summer camp, didn't get it, and decided to move to a ranch in California before I found out I didn't get it an yway!

Knowing you, something perfect will come together,e ven with all your disparate passions...and speak of the devil, you can always work for Bread! Or ranches! See y'all next week for the workshop! (volunteering at coldplay this weekend?)

I am not yet ready for the real world either. Probably not the best excuse to go to law school, but hey, why not? I've also recently begun researching other options...

I miss facebook. I would be friends with peanut butter and maybe milk too. I'm sad the you are not going to run the marathon. I remember that night in Barnes and Nobles when you decided that you wanted to start training because Claire was reading "Running Marathons for Dummies." Good times.
I think you should be one of those people that just stays in school for forever that way you won't have to worry about finding a job! Just a thought.

Oh, Seth did you use hair products to get such nice curls? Please share your beauty secrets.
