I'm pretty sure that I have eaten more baked beans in these past three months or so than I have in the rest of my life before that combined. For some reason I have been craving baked beans and potato chips. And I usually don't even like potato chips. I think my body is telling me I need more protein but that it is smart enough not to crave meat. I appreciate the fact that it knows not to crave meat anymore. Good job body.

I used to like to eat baked beans and potatoes. I'd eat the potato leaving only the skin and then pile on the beans. Yum! Another good protein bean idea that is simple after a long day of work is kidney beans and rice. Heat beans in microwave and serve on fresh rice. One of my favorite meals!

I love kidney beans and rice! I still eat that sometimes. I remember eating it a lot growing up. It's cheap, easy, and fast.

You need to learn how to make Cholent and corn bread for Sunday dinner. Nothing better.

Seems that Cholent is flavored with meat...

Chloent can be made anyway you want it. Meat, vegitarian or vegan. Its not whats in the cholent, its who you are sharing it with thats important.

I doubt your craving for potato chips is a sign of lack of protein. They are not exactly a protein dense food product. . .

Yeah, funny thing is I don't even really like potato chips. I just like them with baked beans. And i like baked beans best with potato chips for some reason. I guess I just like the crunch factor. Oh, and I'm eating the baked chips so they're somewhat better...
