Springtime in Knoxville

Here are some pictures of Knoxville that Jeremy took the other day. All the trees and flowers are blooming and it's pretty dang pretty around here. These pictures were taken in a neighborhood with a walking trail through it. We have recently started walking the trail, or part of the trail, a few times a week. The trail is a little under three miles long one way and winds through a pretty ritzy neighborhood. Also, it goes along the Tennessee River part of the way. Basically, it's a really nice area, especially for walking, especially during this time of the year.

So, this wouldn't probably be a good time to mention that it has been snowing here since Tuesday morning and hasn't stopped yet (on Thursday Morning) and that we have a couple of feet that have accumulated...

Beautiful! Great color too! It's starting to look like that here too and we've started planting flowers around the house. We also finally have grass! I'm sooo excited about that.

Yeah, it WAS nice here but now a cold front came through here too and it's supposed to freeze the next two nights. Not cool. Oh well, at least we don't have snow... :)

Yes the spring flowers are great. I miss the ones in West Virginia. The drive up the mountain to our house was really beautiful in the spring. We are waiting to plant flowers until we get back from KS. We have one yellow Stella Delora Lilly. I am goint to divide it this year. To get three plants. They do better when they are divided once in a while they grow larger. Yes I saw the snow here on Saturday. 40 degrees and snow strange. We will get to see that new grass soon.
