D.C.

Jeremy and I are both in D.C. for the next few days as we attending a conference for Bread for the World. It started this evening and will run through Tuesday which is lobby day. This year Bread's focus is on the Farm Bill which is up for renewal this year. More on that later.

So far it's been fun. There are a few Baylor people here so it's been good to talk with them and catch up.

Today, before the conference started, we played tourist some and saw some of the D.C. sights. I'm not slightly sunburned and really tired so it's off to bed as it will be a full day tomorrow.

btw.......I just joined "Bread for the World". They seem like a honest and reputable organization. I have seen the corruption in the U.N. World Food Program and UNICEF and wouldn't give a dime to them.
