There is a fairly new country music radio station in Knoxville; I think it began airing about a year ago maybe. It plays a wide range of country music, lots of old stuff and even some bluegrass every once in a while. However, they also play some questionable "country" music. Like the Eagles. I'm not sure if that is really country. But the kicker is that they keep playing Bruce Springsteen. I have heard him on the station at least four times and at least two different songs. Since when is The Boss considered country?

Some years ago, several country artists got together and made an Eagles tribute album. Can't explain the Springsteen though...unless some of his could fall under the subcategory of Americana perhaps...
