Merry Christmas!

This is the first year I haven't gone anywhere for Christmas in a very long time. It's also the first time I haven't spent it with family in, well, ever. Jeremy and I are staying in Knoxville this year. Here's a picture of our tree. We have exponentially more ornaments than last year, but it's still pretty sparse. We have decided to each buy an ornament each year and eventually, we will have a lot.

Tonight we went for a drive to look at Christmas lights, Knoxville is a little bit disappointing for lights, but we did manage to find a couple decent neighborhoods. My favorite houses were the ones that were entirely overdone with lights in the yard, all over every bush, covering the entire roof. They made me laugh, but in a good way.

Also, here is a picture of the flowers Jeremy bought me a couple weeks ago, for no reason except that he's sweet.

Flowers from someone just 'cause they are sweet are the best kind! Love the paper chain on the tree...those early trees will remain in your memory forever...enjoy! Merry Christmas!

Fif papa send you a picture of our tree. This is the second year we did this for our tree. We put presents in big boxes then stacked them up going to smaller ones. We even put and ceramic angle on top of the little one. Also this year I wrapped the presents then put them onto larger boxes. Then wrapped them and put in the boxes to make the tree. It was fun. Wrapping paper is so inexpensive at dollar tree you can get all you want. We did put some color ornaments on the boxes too and some tinsel. Lester pasted out the gifts and then the tree was gone. It was really fun. Easy to clean up too. Your tree is nice. You will be surprised how fast the years will go and you will have lots of ornaments. Keep making some too. Love

We missed you! I have pictures of our tree and other decorations at home that I am planning to one day upload. We'll see if it happens! Oh, and I had bought ornaments for you for a gift this year but ended up not sending them because I was in a hurry to get the cards out late. I'll send those to you someday...
