I read the four Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants books last week, and I have to say, they are much better than the movie. The movie is based off the first book only, but changes quite a bit. Also, the books are the closest to what it is like to be a girl ages 15-19ish. I have to say, between the four different characters, Ann Brashares nails adolescent teenage/early college girl life. I was very impressed and I can't believe it took me so long to get around to reading the books. Young Adult literature is one of my favorite genres, how did I miss out on this series for so long?

I own the book and movie, but just the first book...and I didn't ring in the new year with 'comrades' either...

I listened to the first book on CD on the way home from your house after Thanksgiving. It wasn't exactly what I expected, but yes, I did enjoy it also. I haven't read the others yet.
