"Good Friday" "Hike" and Easter

It's been our tradition the past few years to go for a hike on Good Friday. This year we knew we wouldn't be able to tackle any trail that was remotely long or difficult since we have a newborn. Instead, we decided to go for a walk on the Carriage Roads in Acadia National Park. It turned out that Jeremy needed to work on Friday so we rescheduled for Saturday.

The weather wasn't the best on Saturday so Jeremy suggested we go to his work instead for our walk. They have a "hiking" route through the lab. It actually was pretty fun. We did the trail twice so we walked one mile. The trail went up and down stairwells and all over the lab. We thought it was pretty funny that we were still following blazes on our "hike."

This is definitely a Good Friday hike we will remember. Next year I'm hoping to do something a bit more challenging, and outside.

Sunday we went to church. After the service we took a picture for the directory since we were all dressed nicely for Easter. Plus we needed a new picture that includes Jonas.

Haha, an indoor hiking trail. That's awesome. There are some people at my work who do their daily walking around the floor, just circling the outside edges of the cubicles.
